I had the wonderful opportunity to photograph Rebecca and Sam in the beautiful Bivouac at the Swinton Estate in Masham, North Yorkshire.
This was a styled shoot put together by Nicola Dixon Photography to help other wedding photographers grow and learn their craft, experience interesting new wedding venues and to network with each other.
We all met in Masham on a very sunny Sunday morning. The drive from Sheffield was mostly nice and I was excited to meet everyone. Every photographer had their own creative quirk whether it was using a prism, unusual angles, using grass blades to blur images and loads of other creative techniques. No one was pushy, no one was taking over. We all just worked together and helped one another to create bold and interesting photographs.
The couple were lovely. A duo who live in Sheffield who sing together and Rebecca also models, most notably in Game of Thrones. They not only had good posing ability but also had a beautiful connection to one another, which emulated through into the images.
Afterwards we all sat and had afternoon tea together and I met some lovely other photographers that I hope to work with again.
Below is a list of suppliers for the day including Rebecca’s lovely dress!
Rebecca’s dress is by Justina Alexander from the Harrogate Wedding Lounge.
Her flowers are by Firenza Floral Design
