Norwood Park Wedding
Lauren and Dominic were quite honestly one of my favourite couples to work with. They really valued photography and the little details. Over the months of getting to know them; Lauren sent pictures and ideas on Instagram and I loved it! She was a bride who knew what she wanted but also worked with me.
We had already had their engagement shoot at Elvaston Castle during the summer, and I aimed to capture them as naturally as possible as I knew that was what they were after. Engagement shoots always give me a window of insight into what a couple hope for with their wedding photos.
I knew Lauren and Dominic wanted me to capture the day as naturally as possible, capturing lots of laughter, silliness and fun! They had their reception at Norwood Park, which was an absolutely outstanding venue full of beautiful photo opportunities full of variety. We did their group photos in front of the house, bridal and groom party through the beautiful grounds and the couples portraits walking amongst the grounds leading to the stunning apple orchard… which if you’re a photographer reading this and super creative like me; you know that is an absolute find!
Calum wasn’t able to join me on the day having been struck down with flu, but one of my other second shooters, Ashley Thurman, worked with me perfectly capturing the candid’s and extra viewpoints to myself as well as doing a fab job at groom prep!
I absolutely loved capturing Lauren & Dominic’s day, which was absolutely full of fun and laughter and enjoyment from everyone. Favourite moments were the magician, capturing Lauren and Dominic through the stairway, the group photo of the Lauren and her girlfriends showing their pants! The confetti shot with their SUPER CUTE dog Ralph, the speeches and the sparklers!
It really was a day full of joy and excitement and a perfect examples of family and friends celebrating in the perfect day!
