You’ve recently got engaged, and the excitement (or nerves) of wedding planning is beginning to set in! Where to begin, what to look at, who to contact. Wedding photographers are often at the top of the list and I think it’s for good reason. After your wedding day, your photos will help you to reminisce on the happiest day of your life.
So with that said, it’s a great idea to include an engagement sessions. This is because, a) it’s lovely to have on extra set of images to remember your engagement and that special time before the wedding and b) because I think it’s important for you to get comfortable being photographed by me on your wedding day and for me to know what you both like and don’t like.
Engagement sessions are at a location of your choice [within the UK] and normally last for around on hour.
Sometimes it’s just the couple, sometimes it’s the couple and their children and sometimes it’s the couple and their dog. I love all options and I love quirky ideas! You can also use your engagement images for save the date cards or invitations or as part of your wedding day. You can also keep them private just for you and your fiancée. But I think an engagement session is perfect in celebrating your engagement, whether you want to officially announce it or just put it on Facebook! Make this a special time for the two of you and enjoy it.
